In this step, you create your compensation wage types. To do this, you copy the sample SAP wage types. You can adapt these copies to meet your requirements.

Note

  • For more information on how to create your own wage types by copying the wage types contained in the SAP wage type catalog, see Create wage types using the wage type catalog.
  • You must make sure that you only copy the wage types to the wage type area that has been defined for you. You must never copy your wage types into the SAP sample wage type area. To guarantee this, select a wage type area beginning with a number between 0 and 9.

  2. Enter:
    1. The name of the wage type you want to copy
    2. A name and a long text and a short text for the copied wage type
  3. Choose Copy
  4. Save your entries
