For further information on the payroll excerpt, refer to the section "Remuneration Statement", and read the following sections:

  • "Individual fields"

"EP" (Every page) is the only page type used, because a payroll journal form is never more than a page long.

  • "Line layout"

  • "Set up assignment for form printout"

Perform this step before you continue structuring the form with the form editor.

  • "Assign wage types for form printout"

Perform this step before you continue structuring the form

    with the form editor.

  • "Assign wage types in window"

  • "Identifiers in window"

Note that wage types not included in the RT table can not always be assigned according to the payroll journal sort key. Data like this should only be entered in the form for parameter combinations used to start the program.

  • "Group start and end texts in window"

  • If applicable, "Summarize identifiers"

  • If applicable, "Cumulate identifiers"

All wage types, which are to be printed in display totals, must be

specifically coded in the form for the payroll excerpt. You code the

wage types by creating a totals identifier (cumulation wage type) with

the name '****' in the form, and by totalling all wage types which are

to be used in the display totals.

Note that you can only print wage types in the totals display and

and cumulate them into sum identifier (cumulation wage type) "****" if

they come from one of the following tables:

    • RT
    • CRT
    • certain national tables (e.g. tables TCRT, ARRRS, DDNTK, CVAL for USA)
    • You may not code certain cumulation wage types, which are formed
    • in the payroll excerpt, for the tptals display. All wage types, which
    • flow into the cumulation wage type, must be coded individually.

Wage types in tables containing cumulated values, such as tables CRT and TCRT, can only be cumulated correctly for certain parameter combinations used to start the program.

  • If applicable, "Rules"

  • If applicable, "Set up alternative currency"

Perform this step before you continue structuring the form with the form editor.

Procedure

Refer to the relevant sections under "Remuneration Statement" - "Setting up the form with the HR form editor".
