This IMG activity gives information on the special dependent features of forms for the receipt of wages that must be considered when configuring notifications for the employee.

For further information on this subject, see the sections "Identifiers in window" and "Line layout", or consult the documentation on the form editor in the SAP Library.

You can set up notifications for your employees in a window, and print them as additional information on the remuneration statement.

The system bears the following types of notification:

  • General notifications

  • The personnel number is assigned to a module created as a standard text using the SAPscript word processing system. General notifications could be information from the management, such as:

    "Christmas holidays at the company will be held in December."

  • Personal notifications

    An individual text module is used for the employee in question, such as:

    "Please contact Mr García in order to extend your contract."

The procedure used to set up a notification in the window differs from the procedure described in the step "Identifiers in window" with regard to completing the field Table. It also differs from the procedure described in the IMG activity "Line layout" with regard to completing the fields Table, Identifier and Column type.

IDENTIFIER (Notifications (identifiers) in window)

You can enter the following in this field:

  • Enter the value "1" for a general notification.
  • Enter the value "2" for a personal notification.

TABLE (Notifications (identifiers) in window)

In this field you must enter the following entry:

  • "TXT"

COLUMN TYPE (notifications (identifiers) in window)

In this field you must make the following entry:

  • "X"

FIELD NAME (line layout)

You must complete the fields Table and Table field with the following entries:

Example

You want to set up a general notification for form "ZF01" of your employees. The notification needs to be printed in window F1, group number 01, subgroup number 01 and with line type 01.

Entries for identifiers in window

To set up notifications in the window, you must make the following entries under the identifiers in it:

You are now in the form editor in the dialog box "Change layout of group ...". For group 01 indicate:

The following entries are also required to determine the line layout:

In the form editor choose "change line layout" and complete the fields Line type and Column type.

In the dialog box "Include individual fields in line layout", make the following entries in the data groups Position data, Print data, and Print options:

The general notification text is created using the SAPscript word processing system and has a length of 65 characters. The Notifications infotype (0128) is used to assign the personnel number to the text module.

Your general notification is printed on form "ZF01" in window F1, group number 01, subgroup number 01, line type 01 and column 0. It is 65 characters long.

Note

The system only prints notifications on the remuneration statement that belong to the current payroll period. No notifications are printed on remuneration statements for retroactive accounting periods.
