This IMG activity explains how to set up special wage types in the payroll account. These special wage types represent the wage types grouped in the wage type assignments for the form printout.

For further information, refer to the documentation on the form editor in the SAP Library.

GENERAL PROCEDURE

For each wage type assignment for which information is printed in a window, the following specifications are required:

  • Subgroup number
  • Table
  • Identifier
  • Long text
  • Line type
  • Column type

You can also specify the following for each wage type assignment in the window:

  • Conversion
  • Rule for form editing

Wage type assignment

Wage type assignments for the form printout defined by the specifications in evaluation class 03, are included in special wage types as follows:

  • The first and the second characters of the wage type specify "**"

  • The third and the fourth characters of the wage type specify the wage type assignments for the form printout (specification of evaluation class 03).

    • Example
    You want to create a special wage type for wage type assignments "01". This special wage type represents all wage types with specification "01" in evaluation class 03. In this case, you enter:

    **01

For information on other entries, refer to the section "Identifiers in window". Wage type information provided in the aforementioned section also applies to special wage types created for the form printout. However, you must take note of the table name restriction.

The table name specifies the payroll results table in which wage type information is stored for printing. Results table "RT" is the only table valid for payroll account wage type assignments.

Procedure

Make the required entries using the form editor. Choose the activity for the form editor.
