In this IMG activity, you maintain the form directory.
The form directory contains all the attributes of a form. Form attributes define a form's processing parameters, that is, where and how the form is used in the system.
You must perform this IMG activity to set up a customer-defined form using the views.
Caution:
You must also perform this IMG activity to manually assign a user-defined form to a form class. You do this, if the form was created prior to Release 3.1I using views, and if the form could not be assigned to a form class by the conversion report.
Note that a form incorrectly assigned to a form class can no longer be interpreted by the respective evaluation report.
You enter the following form data in the form directory:
- Define the form class and the employee responsible for the form
- Define the maximum size
GENERAL PROCEDURE
You enter the following specifications for each form included in the form directory:
- Form class
- Responsible person
You can also enter the following specifications:
- Form to be compressed
- Maximum number of lines and columns
Unless self-explanatory, the individual entries are explained below:
Form class
Each form must be assigned to a form class so that it can be edited using the form editor, and correctly assigned to the respective evaluation report.
Examples of form classes in the standard system include:
Form class Form
CEDT Remuneration statement
CKTO Payroll account
CLJN Payroll journal
Responsible
Here you enter the employee responsible for the form.
Form to be compressed
This indicator defines whether blank lines at the end of a form are suppressed or not.
At present, this indicator is only used in the payroll journal.
Maximum number of lines and columns
In these fields you define the longest possible form length.
