This IMG activity describes how to set up time quotas.
The following time quotas are distinguished for an employee:
- Attendance quotas
- Absence quotas
You can set up these time quotas in fixed positions or in a window.
This activity describes how to set up time quotas in fixed positions.
The entries in the Field and Wage type fields in this activity differ from those described in the activity "Set up data in fixed positions".
FIELD NAME
When setting up time quotas you can only enter fields from the following tables:
- ZKT (Attendance quotas)
This table contains the attendance quotas for all employees.
- ZKQ (Absence quotas)
This table contains the absence quotas for all employees.
The allowed field names are listed in the "Allowed field names" overview under the table name.
To make an entry in the Field field for time quotas, please follow the usual procedure, i.e. first specify the name of the table containing the field, then a hyphen and finally the field name itself.
Example:
You want to print the key for an absence quota. This is stored in field "KTART" in table "ZKQ". In this case you must make the following entry in the Field field:
ZKQ-KTART
Setting up text for a time quota type
If you want to print the text for an attendance or absence quota you must enter the key for the appropriate time quota type in the Field field ("ZKQ-KTART" or "ZKT-KTART") and conversion "01" (new conversion key; this is recommended) or "35" (old conversion key) in the Conversion field. Then, the system prints the text for a time quota type.
Validity date of a time quota type
The start and end dates are irrelevant for time quotas in fixed positions, i.e. there is only one entry per time quota type in internal table "ZKQ" or "ZKT".
WAGE TYPE
Specify the time quota type to be printed or whether the total of all time quota types is to be printed in this field. Your entry must consist of four characters regardless of which time quota type you choose. Your entry should be as follows:
1st character:
"Y" Fixed value
2nd character:
"*" Fixed value
indicates that the total of all data records is to be printed for
a piece of data on a time quota (e.g. quota consumption)
3rd and 4th characters:
"Quota type", e.g. "01" for time quota type "Entitlement to non-working shift".
or
"**" for total of all time quota types
Example:
You want to print the total of all time quota types. In this case you must enter the following in the Wage type field:
Y***
EXAMPLE
You want to set up the absence quota for the employee for time quota type "01" in line 16 for form "ZF01". The following is to be printed in the individual columns in the line:
- from column 01 on, the key for the quota type
- from column 05 on, the text for the quota type
- from column 20 on, the number of the quota
- from column 25 on, the quota consumption
- from column 30 on, the remainder of the quota (= number minus consumption)
The data is to be printed only on the first page of the remuneration statement.
In this case you must make the following entries:
PType No Offs Lngth WType Field Conv Rule Field offset
FP 16 001 02 Y*01 ZKQ-KTART
FP 16 005 15 Y*01 ZKQ-KTART 01
FP 16 020 05 Y*01 ZKQ-ANZHL
FP 16 025 05 Y*01 ZKQ-KVERB
FP 16 030 05 Y*01 ZKQ-REST
The entry in the Wage type indicates that data on time quota type "01" is to be printed, and in this case the data is the total ("*"). The data to be printed on this time quota type is stored in the Field field: since the quota here is an absence quota the fields from table "ZKQ" (absence quotas) must be specified here. Conversion "01" entered in the second line prompts the system to print the text for the time quota type instead of the key.
The default from the "Allowed field names" overview was selected as the output length. In some cases a smaller output length was selected so that all data could be printed in one line. The line type "FP" indicates that the data is only to be printed on the first page of the remuneration statement.
