This section explains some of the special features you must take into account when setting up the form background for the payroll journal.
For further information, refer to the documentation on the form editor in the SAP Library. YOu can access this information in one of two ways:
- In the system, choose "Help -> SAP Library"
- In the form editor transaction, choose "Help -> Extended Help".
Form page length
You set up the page length of the form by defining the number of lines in the form background. Do not enter any additional data in the form background.
If, however, you do enter additional data in the form background, this data will not be printed out.
Page length for a payroll journal in several languages
If a payroll journal has to be created in different languages, as might be the case in multilingual countries such as Switzerland or Belgium, the form background must be created in all output languages.
Th form editor performs this task for you. If you change the page length of the payroll journal in one language, the form editor transfers the change to all the other languages of the payroll journal form.
Procedure
Make the required entries using the form editor. Choose the activity for the form editor, and set up the payroll journal form background.
