In this step you check the completeness of the two-digit absence symbols used. In addition, you assign certain characteristics to each absence symbol.
Two-digit absence symbols are used to display the individual grounds for continued remuneration, for example in cases of first illness, secondary illness, partial remuneration, quarterly remuneration, no remuneration, and so on.
Activities
Carry out the activity. Enter the value 03 into the field Grpg Psubarea.
You reach the screen Characteristics of Attendance/Absence Types.
For each absence symbol, ensure that the various characteristics meet your demands and, if required, make the relevant changes:
Choose the field Reimbursable, if this part of the income is refundable.
(Report RPCEFZA1 evaluates the field Reimbursable during the creation of the request for reimbursement according to § 8 of the Continued Remuneration Law [EFZG])
Choose the corresponding field in the segment Paid Continued Remuneration.
The fields for Paid Continued Remuneration are evaluated during the creation of the employment and remuneration statements.
The fields in the segment Details of Absence are not evaluated presently.
