In this step you determine which agreement should apply for employees based upon their organizational assignments.
The feature LOFOA allows you to define the applicable agreement on three different levels: company codes, personnel areas, and personnel subareas. Thus you can use the same agreement (either statutory terms or collective contracts) for employees in different organizational units.
With the activity Flow Control for Continued Remuneration you define the quotas you want to allow. The basis contingent, which always has the sequence number 1, represents the statutory terms. For entitlements stemming from collective contracts or company-internal agreements, you use additional, consecutively numbered quotas. This determines how the system reacts when the basis quota has been exhausted.
Grant additional quotas.
You represent supplementary agreements (company-intern rules) that are activated at the end of the preliminary quota. You define these agreements by adding a line to your agreement. The system processes one quota after the other dependent upon the sequence number.
Example
In some organizational units of your company, merely the legal terms are binding for the continued remuneration. In other organizational units additional agreements from collective contracts are used. You create a basis quota for the statutory terms with the number01. For entitlements due to collective contracts or company-internal rules, create additional, consecutively numbered quotas.
