Use
For shelf-space optimization from an MAP planning step, a valuation index, which enters the optimization run, has to be created at material level.
In the simplest case, a key field of the planning structure represents the index, so that in the BAdI implementation, only a material list with the cumulated values of a key figure has to be created.
If the index formation needs to be different in terms of characteristic values, for example, this can be specified in the implementation.
Requirements
The planning structure must show the characteristics assortment, material and a time characteristic.
The characteristics and key figures available for the BAdI have to be customized under the request ID for space management (usually number 4).
Standard settings
A method is provided in the standard implementation, which transfers the last key figure as the index.
