In this IMG activity, you can specify the tax and royalty reports that you want to use in the new tax or royalty reporting frameworks.
You can also use this activity to activate new Revenue Distribution functionality for use in PRA.
Regarding Revenue Distribution (RD), this control allows you to activate the most recent functionality for RD in a specific client (your log-on client). This new functionality for RD mainly consists of performance improvements (improved programs, and the use of SAP internal tables to replace flat files, for example), particularly in the areas of: valuation documents, settlement statements, and check input batches.
Caution !
Activation is client-dependent. Note that by activating RD functionality or a report, you are - from a technical point of view - accepting the new report or RD functionality for the relevant client, which means that the previous report or RD functionality will no longer be valid in that client after you activate. Once the new report or RD functionality is activated, you cannot deactivate it in that client ! Please consider this before making the decision to activate it.

SAP recommends that you activate the RD functionality, as it will give you the most recent functionality for RD, and it will improve the performance of RD in your system.
Activities
When you select this activity, the system displays the customizing screen, which contains a table (Change View "Maintenance view for migration control: Overview screen).
In the Migration Key column, <NRD> (New Revenue Distribution) and various reports have been pre-entered by SAP. To activate NRD or any of the reports for the relevant client in your system, enter an X in appropriate the Active Fl. field and then save your entries.
