In this IMG activity, you define measurement sources. Measurement sources define the applications that record measurements using the measurement system.
Each application must be assigned to a measurement source. An existing source may be used if there is a logical hierarchy (for example, all measurement point applications can use the same source), or if a new one can be created.

Standard settings
The PRA system is supplied with standard, pre-configured measurement sources.
Recommendation
A new measurement source is required if a new application is configured to use the measurement system.
Activities
1. Choose New entries and enter a measurement source.
2. Select the measurement source and choose Details.
The Change View Measurement source: Details screen appears.
3. Enter data as required for the measurement source details.
Save the measurement source definition.
