In this activity, starting from an existing scenario, you can specify for each theme category which views you will see in your organizational responsibilities area. In the second step of this activity you can give this combination of views a customer-specific composite definition.
Example
A line manager requires the Cost center tab page for the theme category Costs + Budget , but not for the Employee or Organization theme categories. For the last two categories (function code STANDARDFUNKTION and INFO), for example, you store the evaluation paths SBES (for the tab page Directly subordinate employees) and SBESX (All subordinate employees), but not the evaluation path KOST-OSA (Cost centers)
Requirements
The scenario is stored in the operation table Define scenarios in the activity Scenario-specific settings.
The views have already been defined in the form of evaluation paths in the operation Determine views (evaluation paths).
Activities
- In the operation Determine views (evaluation paths) per category you determine for each theme category in a scenario which tab pages, in other words views, you will see in your organizational responsibility area. For each tab page in a category, make an entry in the table:
- In the first column, enter the scenario for which you are specifying the tab pages for the theme category.
- In the second column, enter the theme category. You can only enter the theme categories that are stored in table T77MWBFCH with function code type HOME for the operation Define structure of function codes.
- In the third and fourth columns, enter the name of the evaluation path as well as a unique key for determining views of the organizational area of responsibility.
- In the operation Determine views (evaluation paths) per category you can save the combination of views specified above with a customer- specific composite definition.
Further notes
If you do not make entries in the operation Determine views (evaluation paths) per category for a theme category in a scenario, all tab pages will be available to the user for that theme category.
