Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Medication component.
You can use this BAdI to change the standard behavior when replacing drugs. The following options exist in order to change a drug:
- The "Alternatives" function in the order dialog
- The "Output Quantity Proposal" function in the collapsed order table of the order dialog
You can use this BAdI to change the behavior of these dialogs, e.g. that replacement occurs without a dialog or the quantity of the alternative drug is restricted using customer-specific criteria.
You should note that overwriting the drug ID in the order dialog does not lead to a replacement of the original drug by a new one. Instead, the system deletes the whole order here - as long as the order has not been saved - and creates a new one with new presetting from the master data. In this case this BAdI won't be called either.
