Use
Anesthesia quality assurance takes place based on the specifications of the anesthesia core dataset in Version 2.0, which defines the valid value range for each attribute to be reported.
In may cases, the valid value range entered in the specification differs from the value ranges defined in IS-H*MED with regard to the form or the content. The variation possibilities of the value ranges necessitate a flexible assignment in addition to the coding possibilities on offer as standard.
In the table the value according to the specification is assigned to each value of an attribute in IS-H*MED.
Value assignments can be institution-wide or institution-related.
Requirements
Maintenance of the control table must be complete.
Standard settings
Activities
These values must be entered for each attribute with values which can be transferred without changes, and values which cannot be changed using a standard conversion.
Example
IS-H*MED will internally display the sex as 1 for female and 2 for male. However, in the core dataset for anesthesia, the coding is 1 for male 2 for female.
