Use
The settings entered in this step are used to assign the data which exists in the interface file to the fields of the document. Actual mapping must be performed in the implementation of the BAdI's ISHMED_DS_PMDDEVICES in the PARSE_AND_MAP method.

Activities
For each document field to be filled use the "External Code" column to store a "path", which enables the unique assignment of the desired value, depending on the structure of the interface file.
In the BAdI implementation evaluate these entries and provide the document with the results in a table.
Using the values for the internal/external unit or high/low value it is possible to convert values in the BAdI or suppress the transfer of values outside of predefined limits.
Example
The following example shows the entries for the assignment of values for the aortic valve area when resting in a field of the cardiac catheter findings:
