Use

You wish to make the sample documents of the i.s.h.med cardiology departmental solution available in your system.

These directions contain the necessary steps for importing document category definitions via BC set.

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Start transaction SCPR20 and enter the name of the BC set.
  2. Check the BC set, to avoid collisions with existing table entries.
Call the "Compare with System Tables" function.
You will be prompted to enter values for variable entries.
Replace the institution with the institution number you use (complete length including leading zeroes.

The result is a list of table entries with different colors.
New entries from the BC set are displayed in green,
differences to existing entries are displayed on a yellow/orange background
These differences must be carefully checked, so that no important data is subsequently overwritten by the BC set!
Note: If a BC set should be imported again for a document category, you must check the entries in tables N2ET and N2ET2 in particular. If structural changes are mapped in the BC set, this can lead to duplicate entries in the definite design. In this case delete all entries in tables N2ET and N2ET2 for the relevant document category before activating the BC set (e.g. using transaction SE16). There may be duplicate entries in the abstract design which you must subsequently delete manually!
If no critical collisions exists, you can activate the BC set:
  3. Start transaction SCPR20 and enter the name of the BC set.
Execute the "Activate" function and enter the values for the variable entries, as described.
Start the import with the standard settings ("Overwrite All Settings" and "Standard Mode").

Note that sample documents are not transported further! When activating BC sets for document category definitions resulting transport orders must be rejected.

Additional activities:

You use transaction SCPR20 to activate further BC sets which contain data for the documents:

  • ISH_N2_PMD_CACOMBO: All sample content delivered for combo boxes and the additional data of specific input help based on the table for combo box values (e.g. study participation).
  • ISH_TN2LINKHTMLBDS_CARDIO: Connection of HTML templates and background graphics (table TN2LINKHTMLBDS).

You can activate these BC sets during the initial import of the cardiology departmental solution.
Note that you could overwrite your own data if you repeat this step at a later date. It will then be necessary to execute a precise check using Compare with System Tables.

Transport orders which result when you activate this BC set must be transported to downstream systems.
