Use
Control the screen fields which should appear for the ESS on Commuting Allowance (PZ67) via this IMG activity.
Different field controls can be set up for the same dynpro screen depending on specific characteristics or decision criteria. The characteristic or decision field is based on the structure for Image Control ESS (PMESS). The return value of the decision field specifies a variable key which contains the actual information for the field controls.
Requirements
First, verify the settings of the corresponding module pool within the Infotype Screen Control (T588M) table. There should be no inconsistencies in the customized settings. For example, avoid having a required field in the Infotype Screen Control table set as a hidden field in this IMG step.
Second, if there are different customized settings for certain decision field/s, the values for the variable keys should have been specified in Feature J0559.
Standard settings
The standard delivery uses the subtype as a decision field to determine the variable key.
Activities
Adapt the screen appearance of the ESS scenario to your business requirements. Maintain the characteristics of the field groups. With the help of the radio buttons you can specify that a field or a group of fields should be
- required
- optional
- output or display only specially when data is related to certain calculations
- hidden field when no data input is permitted.
Example
When the variable key is set to the value for subtype 'Transportation (money), the field for 'Car Type' is not needed; thus can be hidden.
When the variable key is set to the value for subtype 'Non-commercial' (2 or 5), the 'Car Type' field may be needed; thus it is set to standard (Std) settting.
