Use
In this IMG activity, you assign status profiles to the control keys to determine the possible user statuses (and their sequence) for collateral objects of a collateral object type. This is enabled by the assignment of the collateral object type to the control key in the IMG activity Assign Process Control Keys to Collateral Object Types.
Note: You define the status transition for this status profile for individual activities in the IMG activity Define Activities.
You make this assignment for a specific process control area. The assignment can be different for the same control key in a different control area. This would imply that the assets of the same type would undergo a different status transition, based on the administrative organizational unit in which they are managed.
Requirements
In the respective Implementation Guide (IMG) activities, you must define:
- The status profile and control keys that you want to assign.
- The relevant process control area before performing this activity.
Standard settings
The standard system provides a standard system profile assigned to each control key.
Activities
Determine the possible combinations of status profiles and control keys across all administrative organizational units in your organization.
