Use
In this IMG activity, you define securities classification types for the positions of a securities account. You must assign each classificiation type to a sub asset type. This assignment determines the sub asset that would be created for each position in a securities account.
Note: The sub-asset types of the classification types must be assigned to the asset type of the securities account of the positions.
Securities classification type is mandatory for securities positions. For every securities position, its classification type fetched from the class master data needs a mapping to the corresponding sub asset type.
Requirements
In the IMG activity Define Sub-asset Types, you must define the required sub-asset ypes to which you want to assign classification types.
Standard settings
Some examples of securities classification types include bonds and shares.
