In this IMG activity, you define business partner (BP) roles. The roles are used to specify the function of each business partner with respect to the real estate object. They also serve as a link to the external business partner system. You must assign each business partner to a business partner role in the system.

OMS: Real Estate (OMS: RE) only holds a link to the business partner and the BP details are maintained in the external system. The external system is linked to OMS: RE using an interface. This interface has the relevant methods required for the linkage. A default implementation with SAP Business Partner is already defined.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Select New Entries to define a Role type.
  2. Specify a business partner Role number.
  3. Enter a name for the Role type.
  4. Save your entries.
