In this IMG activity, you define receivable organizational units. While defining collateral terms, you may require to select receivables belonging to a specific organizational unit.
In Collateral Management (CM), receivables can be created directly or sourced from external credit systems. Therefore, it would be necessary to map to corresponding organizational units in the external credit systems. This mapping is used to define a mapping at the database level. This process allows CM to use loans maintained in external credit systems, for its own business processes.
