Use

In this IMG activity, you can define the generic insurance types to maintain insurance specific details of collateral objects. Each insurance collateral object will inherit the characteristics of the insurance types, through the insurance sets.

To use insurance types, you must first assign insurance types to insurance sets in the IMG activity Define Insurance Sets. Additionally, you must select an insurance set for each collateral object type, in the Customizing of the respective collateral object types. These assignments determine the required and allowed insurance types for a collateral object.

Note: Insurance types are not allowed for collateral objects of types Securities and Insurances.
