Use
In this section, you define asset types. For each asset type, you assign business partner(BP) roles and document types. In the assignment, you can specify whether the BP roles and document types are mandatory for the asset type. The system uses these combinations as checks on the respective business partners and documents, that are specified for the asset.

Asset type ID
Asset category
Object System ID (if you wish to interface with an object system)
Valuation frequency for the asset type
Internal and external advance rate percent: The internal advance rate is used in an asset when the user selects an advance rate type Default in the maintenance transaction.
Realizable value (percentage)
Revaluation frequency
Code of Central Monetary Institution to which the asset belongs
In the navigation area of the screen,
Select the business partner role node to maintain the valid business partner for the asset type.
Select the document type node to maintain the valid document types for the asset type.
