In this IMG activity, you define the possible notice periods that can be used to terminate a collateral agreement. These notice periods are agreed upon when creating a collateral agreement and may be served in the event of a premature termination of a collateral agreement.
Termination rights on collateral agreements can be exercised by both collateral taker and the collateral giver. These must be agreed upon at the time of signing the collateral agreement. Data pertaining to termination of collateral agreements is used in the SAP Basel II framework.
Note: To use termination notice periods, you must have defined termination right types and termination rights in the relevant IMG activities.
