Use

In this IMG activity, you assign the plausibility checks to the user interface (UI) elements, namely, views and function codes. By these assignments, you determine the checks that are executed on fields in a group, or when a user selects a button on the screen.

Note: Checks that you assign to UI elements must also be assigned to relevant activities in the IMG activity Define Activities. Checks are not executed if they are not assigned to activities through plausibility check sets.

Note: Collateral Management (CM) uses the Business Data Toolset (BDT) as a front-end tool to present the screens for the various business entities. In this tool, views refer to subscreens that contain a group of fields. Similarly, buttons on the screen are assigned function codes.

For more information, see the SAP Library help documentation on Business Data Toolset.

Requirements

In the respective Implementation Guide (IMG) activities, you must define the plausibility checks and UI elements that you want to assign.

Standard settings

The standard system delivers the assignment between standard checks and standard views and function codes. It is recommended that you do not overwrite these settings. Your implementation team can add its own additional checks.

Activities

Assign the plausibility checks to the views and function codes defined in BDT Customizing.
