In this IMG activity, you select a number range interval for an agreement type and assign a corresponding number range assignment type.
By assigning a number range interval, you determine the interval that is to be currently used, to generate numbers for collateral agreements of the specified agreement type.
The assignment to a number range type validates if the number range interval is allowed for the agreement type. For example, while defining number range intervals, you define both external and internal number range intervals for an agreement type. While assigning an interval to an agreement type, if you select an internal number range and specify a number range assignment type of say, External and within a Specified Range, the system validates the assignment and returns an error if an incorrect assignment is made.
