Use

In this IMG activity, you can define groups of allowed and mandatory business partner functions. To use the partner sets, you assign them to collateral object types, in the Customizing of the respective collateral object types. By this assignment, you determine the partner functions which are allowed and required for a collateral object.

You have already defined the required partner functions in the Implementation Guide (IMG) activity Define Partner Functions.

Whenever you create a patent object, you must specify a business partner in the partner function Owner. Further, you can only specify business partners in partner functions Contact firm and Register officer as additional partner functions for the patent.
