This Add-In enables you to realize the interface IF_EX_CMS_RE_VAL_ONLN in the Real Estate (RE) object management system of Collateral Management(CM). This interface allows you to trigger valuation of a real estate and returns the valuation results to Real Estate object management.

The standard system provides two active implementations. You can create own active implementations. Multiple active implementations are also possible.

Requirements

You must have defined the real estate valuation methods that you want to use, in the Customzing view Define Value Types for Real Estates. This Add-In uses the value calculation method as the filter value, to trigger valuation process.

Standard settings

This Add-In is filter dependent, the value calculation method being the filter value. Two active implementations are provided in the standard system based on filter values:

  • 001 - Cost depreciation method
  • 002 - Income capitalization method

You are recommended not to modify these implementations. You can add filter values in the customer namespace Y*and Z*, and add implementations for these credit systems.

Recommendation

Activities

  1. In the application menu, choose Tools -> ABAP Workbench -> Utilities -> Business Add-Ins -> Implementation. Alternatively, you can also enter the transaction SE19.
  2. Specify a name for the implementation and choose Create. Enter the name of the Add-In, CMS_RE_VAL_ONLN. The maintenance screen for the Add-In then appears. OR
  3. Alternatively, you can also enter the Business Add-In definition transaction SE18 to reach its implementations. The menu contains an entry Implementation, which you can use to get an overview of the existing implementations. You can also create new implementations from this screen.
  4. Choose the filter value for the Add-In. You can choose from the list of filter values defined in Customizing.
  5. You can assign a name to the implementing class such as <Y_CL_IM_CMS_RE_VAL_ONLN>. You can follow the naming convention as follows:
    • Namespace prefix: Y, or Z
    • Class: CL_
    • Implementation: IM_
    • Name of the implementation
  6. When you have completed incorporating the logic, activate your objects.
