In this step, you assign attributes to your awards and specify the exercise methods you want to allow for each award.

Example

Requirements

  • You have defined awards in the Define Awards step.
  • You have decided which attributes are to be valid for each award, and which exercise methods are allowed.
  • If you are using Treasury and want to make use of integration with it, you must first do the following:
    • Maintain the appropriate distribution model
    • Transport the security price types from the AC system to the HR system
      • For more information on integration with Treasury, see the Read Market Value of Awards from Treasury step in the IMG for Distribution (ALE).

Standard settings

The SAP system contains example entries that you can use as a basis for your own awards.

Recommendation

Activities

To specify attributes for awards:

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. On the detail screen, select the award for which you want to specify attributes.
  3. Specify the attributes by entering the appropriate data.
  4. Save your entries.

To specify allowed exercise methods:

  1. Choose Exercise Methods Allowed.
  2. Choose New Entries.
  3. Enter an exercise method that you want to allow for this award.
  4. Save your entries.
