This section describes how to create the signatures to be used in word processing for the personnel officer or department and for the person responsible for the action.
Example
The confirmation of receipt sent in response to every incoming application is to contain a signature line created by the system in addition to the manual signature.
This functionality also enables you to have letters signed automatically.
Requirements
You should have maintained the Name of recipient field described in the step "Create personnel officer/departments" and should have access to the PA master data necessary for assigning responsibility for actions by means of a personnel number.
Standard settings
The standard entries provide examples of signature lines created automatically.
Recommendation
Check whether your company requires the person responsible for an action to sign external letters. If this is the case, you must enter all persons responsible from any organizational units which may be recruiting personnel.
As you saw in the previous step, you can also print the name of the person responsible in a text without a signature.
Activities
Set up the signature authorizations by allocating the user name to the signature.
Further notes
Personnel officers are assigned signatures by entering the recipient's name which, as mentioned before, is also the user name.
You must set up infotype 0105, Communication for the person responsible for an action. You must also enter the user name of the person entitled to effect a signature in the ID number field for communication type "0001". Signatures are assigned using user names set in this way.
