In this IMG activity, you define the Production month using accounting offset.
The system uses data entered in this activity to determine a current production month for a particular company code and major product code combination.
The system determines the current production month by subtracting the number of months you enter in the ActgMoOffs field from the accounting month.
The formula that the system uses to determine the production month is:
Current Production Month = Accounting Month - months in the ActgMoOffs field

Activities
In this activity you can assign a company code and major product code combination for a production month. Then in the ActgMoOffs field you can define the number of months that the system should subtract from the accounting month.
Further notes
When the number of months is zero, you must enter Less 0 months in the ActgMoOffs field.
Only inventory volumes for the current production month are processed in Valuation and then booked to the subledger.
