General Information on Services Transfer Type
Services are stored in a flat structure, which means there is no header/item structure for data transfer. One data record in external data transfer therefore exactly corresponds to one service transaction.
Receiver Structure
The receiver structure (JBIUSERV) comprises the fields company code, service number, currency, business partner number, external business partner number, and the mode indicator (MODE). The mode indicator determines whether the record is inserted (MODE = 'I') or changed (MODE = U).
Special Considerations
Number assignment
The company code controls whether the number assignment is external or internal. With external number assignment, the service number (RSERVI) has to be transferred for records to be inserted. With internal number assignment, the number is automatically assigned by the system.
Business partner
As an alternative to the business partner number (PARTNR), you can transfer the external partner number (EXTPARTNR).
