Every object manager scenario in the standard system can be tailored to customer needs without modification. You can carry out the following adjustments without needing to define your own scenario:

  • Define your own search node and display it in the search area
  • Change the sequence of the search nodes in the search area
  • Exclude search nodes from display in the search area
  • Assign an additional search tool to a search node
  • Change the name of a search tool or search node
  • Exclude a search node's search tool from display
  • Give a composite definition to column headings of the results in the selection area
  • Display your own column group in the selection area

You only need to to create your own scenario if you want to link the object manager to a transaction whose requirements are not covered by any of the object manager scenarios in the standard system.
