In the following steps you define your own tab pages (step 1) and add your own tab pages to existing tabs (step 2).
Activities
The system displays infotype data on an infotype-specific tab page in the detail area. For this display, the system uses the subscreen generated for the infotype using transaction PPCI. In this way, you can integrate as many infotypes as you want into the detail object display.
In the Define Your Own Tab Pages step, create a new tab page in the customer name space as follows:
In the Tab Page field, define a tab page key beginning with the letter Y or Z.
In the Name field, enter the tab page header.
Select the Infotype-specific checkbox.
Finally, enter the number of the infotype in the Infotype field.
In the step Add Your Own Tab Page to Existing Tab, make the following settings:
In the Scenario field, enter the hierarchy framework scenario in which the tab page is to be displayed.
In the Object Type field, enter the object type for which the tab page is displayed in this scenario. If you enter '*', the system displays the tab page for all object types, unless there is another combination (Scenario, Object Type, Sequence) with an object type other than '*', but with the same entries in the Scenario and Sequence fields. In that case the system displays this other combination.
In the Tab Page field, enter the tab page key.
In the Sequence field, enter the required position of the tab page in the tab.
In the Report Name and Screen field, you can enter a subscreen which the system will then display on the tab page. But if, as in our case, an infotype is displayed on the tab page, you do not need to make an entry here, as the system derives the relevant subscreen from the infotype.
In the FM for Icon field, you can enter a function module that sets the icon for the tab page header. This entry is not relevant in our case.
In the FM for Text field, you can enter a function module that sets the text for the tab page header. This entry is not relevant in our case.
In the Do Not Display and Exclude Tab Page fields you can specify whether the tab page should be shown or hidden.
