In this step, you create a new user master record for each user that has authorization to access the PA and PD systems or you extend his/her existing user master record.
You must specify the following for each system user:
- authorizations
- user defaults
- address
- parameters
You have the possibility to change or extend these details later on.
Requirements
You should have carried out the following steps beforehand:
Activities
- If a user master record exists,
- check the user's authorizations
- check the user's profiles
- assign the user the required profiles
- If no user master record exists,
- create a user master record
- assign the required profiles to the user master record
If users have the same authorization profiles (e.g. from the same area) you can create them by copying.
