In the new Organizational Management interface there are different search functions for the individual objects, including selection and output using free search, which is uniquely assigned to an infoset. An infoset is a specific combination of infotype fields.

In this operation you can determine, for each client, which infoset is assigned to the user for which object type.

Standard settings

The standard system contains infosets for the object types organizational unit, position, job and task. In transaction SM30 you can display the table T77OMAHQ_FuncArS, in which you can view the standard entries.

Activities

  1. In the Scenario column, you should only enter the name of a scenario if you want the infoset-object type assignment only to be valid for the one particular scenario. If you do not make an entry here, the specified infosets per object type will be valid for all existing scenarios.

In this context, scenario means a particular working mode within a transaction, for example OMEOO0 in the new Organizational Management interface.

  2. In the Object type column, enter the appropriate object type ID.
  3. In the InfoSet column, enter the infoset which you want to assign to the object type. The infoset entered here must already have been defined in transaction SQ02 (Specify InfoSets for Interactive Employee Selection).
  4. In the Group column, enter the group ID, which is defined for each object type. The group ID consists of several structural search variants of the free search (see also the views HRSel_GroupIDs and HRSel_Grouping). If there is no entry in this column, it means that within the free search there is no structural search selection for this object.
