In this step you define the screen layout for condition lists. You can create a condition list for any number of conditions. As well as selecting the conditions here, you also determine whether you can select certain characteristic values when the list is executed.

The condition list which you create here is executed with the Execute condition list step.

Activities

  1. Enter a name for the condition list you want to create.
  2. The subsequent screen displays all the characteristics you have used as conditions. Select the fields or conditions you want to include in the condition list.

    The fields offered for selection comprise:

    • characteristics you have qualifed as conditions in condition tables
    • characteristics used as conditions in (SAP standard) condition tables
  3. Choose Edit -> Selec.tables. This takes you to a screen in which you can determine which condition tables are selected.

    If you choose Yes only those condition tables which contain all the selected conditions are evaluated.

    If you choose No all condition tables which have at least one of the selected conditions are evaluated.

  4. In the next dialog box, select all the condition tables you want the system to evaluate.

    Tables from the SAP standard system are displayed in addition to the condition tables you have created yourself.

  5. Choose Position fields to determine the layout of the condition list. The resulting screen displays all the conditions in the selected

    • at what position the field appears in the list (Position)
    • the sequence in which the fields are displayed (Sort)
    • field selection options when executing the conditions list.
      • If you leave this checkbox marked, you have the chance of limiting the display to certain values when the list is executed.
      If you do not want to use certain fields as selection criteria when the report is executed, delete the cross.
  7. Choose Form to determine whether scales or validity periods are displayed in the condition list.
  8. Save your entries.
