In this step you can create a new condition record on the basis of an existing record, which serves as a reference.

Requirements

You must first have:

  • defined the characteristic values for the conditions
  • defined condition types
  • created condition records for the corresponding condition table.

Activities

  1. Choose the condition type in whose condition table you want to add condition records (tables are assigned to the condition type via the access sequence).
  2. With Edit -> Key combinations you can display the condition tables which the condition type accesses. Choose the table you require.
  3. On the "Program selections" screen you can enter characteristic values. This selects a certain characteristic value or an interval of characteristic values and you can use the corresponding condition records as references. Execute takes you to the entries in the interval or intervals.
  4. The system displays one or more selected condition records, including scale values and validity periods as default values. You can overwrite all entries in a reference condition record if required.
  5. Save the condition record you have overwritten in order to create a new condition record.

Additional information

You can also create condition records in the "Define costing condition types" step. To do so, choose Define costing condition types -> Goto -> (Select a condition type) -> Details -> Environment -> Records by condition type.
