In this step you create a link between the flexible procedures and the value fields of your operating concern.

You create a link between the condition type and the value field for condition types which are filled from value fields (so-called basis condition types) and for condition types whose valuation results are stored in value fields.

You can assign each condition type exactly one value field.

However you can assign a value field several condition types. If you assign a value field several condition types, the contents are summated and assigned as one total.

Requirements

Before you can assign a value field, you have to:

  • Define the value field in your operating concern
  • Define a condition type

Activities

  1. First create an operating concern to which your entries refer. Confirm your entry.
  2. Assign a value field to the condition type if:
    • the condition type accesses existing entries in a value field
    • the condition type stores the valuation results in a value field

      Choose the corresponding condition types and value fields from the proposal catalog and assign them on a line-by-line basis. The descriptions are transferred automatically.

  3. Save your entries.
