In this step you define maturity patterns for core deposit positions.

A core deposits position is determined for bank products based on the related transactions, provided the products fulfill the following conditions:

  • The bank products must belong to the same company code
  • The bank products must have been assigned the same maturity pattern
  • The maturity pattern must contain a tranche in the same currency as the bank product transaction

You create the tranches in the maturity pattern in the next step.

Recommendation

When you choose the yield curve type, make sure that it contains all the currencies in which you want to create tranches in the next step.

Requirements

You must first have created yield curve types.

Activities

To create a maturity pattern, proceed as follows:

  1. Enter a short description and an appropriate name for the maturity pattern.
  2. Assign a yield curve type to the maturity pattern.

    Within volume allocation you are only offered those reference interest rates which belong to this yield curve type.

  3. Save your entries.
