To be able to enter financial object data directly when you enter master data, set the FO Integration Active indicator. This ensures that the system displays the transaction data entry screens for the corresponding component (Profitability Analysis) in online maintenance. You can then enter the financial object information in those screens.
You can also determine the way the system reacts to errors. You have the following options:
- Generic transaction cannot be saved
You cannot save the master data of transactions that contain errors.
- Generic transactions can be saved without Profitability Analysis data
You can save master data without also saving the corresponding financial object part that contains errors. In this case, the system just displays a warning message when you save the data.
