In this step you set the number ranges for account turnovers.

Each account turnover entered in the SAP system must be assigned a unique internal number.

The numbers of the account turnovers are unique per company code. You therefore have to set number ranges for each of your company codes.

Only number interval 01 with internal number assignment is relevant for SAP Banking.

Requirements

You must first create your company codes.

Activities

  1. First enter the company code for which you want to set number ranges.
  2. Choose Change interval to create or change a number range interval.
  3. Choose Insert interval to create a new number range interval.
  4. Choose the Change status function to change the status of a number range interval.
  5. Define the interval limits by entering a 'From number' and a 'To number'.
  6. Set the internal number assignment indicator.
  7. Save your entries.
