To be able to enter financial object data at the same time as you create master data, set the Component Active indicator. When you set this indicator, in online processing the system displays the relevant screens for entering transaction data for the component in question (such as Profitability Analysis, and Default Risk Limitation). You can then enter the information required for the financial objects.
You can also define how the system is to react to errors. You select:
- Completely active if the system is not to save the master data for the transaction if there are errors
- Partially active if you want the system to save the master data but not to save the financial object part that is incorrect. In this case, a warning message is triggered when the system saves the data.
Additional Information
You can activate automatic financial object integration based on the company code and the product type for the following transactions:
- Loans
- Foreign exchange transactions
- OTC derivatives
- Money market transactions
Automatic financial object integration can be activated for class positions in securities accounts and class positions in futures accounts on the basis of the company code.
Note that you can use automatic financial object integration for class positions in securities accounts for the for the Analysis and Default Risk Limitation components only. For class positions in futures accounts, you can use automatic financial object integration for the Analysis component only.
Further notes
If you want to use preliminary costing you need to activate automatic financial object integration for loans.
