In this section you set the number of jobs to which the account intervals are to be distributed.
Standard settings
An interval size of 100 with a job number of one is supplied with the standard system. We recommend you adjust these settings to meet your individual requirements.
Recommendation
The number of jobs you set depends, among other things, on the technical capability of your system. This means that it is advisable to restrict the setting according to the number of available batch processes. Test several settings to find the one with the best performance.
Activities
- Specify either the name of the required target computer under "Target computer" or the name of the server group under "Server Group".
- You maintain the server groups in the SAP menu by choosing Tools -> Administration -> Administration/>-> Network -> RFC Destinations -> RFC -> RFC Groups,
- For "Number of jobs", enter the number of jobs you want to be assigned to this computer or this group of computers.
If you wish to make use of automatic distribution by SAP's job distribution, neither the target computer nor the server group may be specified.
