All relevant standard conditions for a group of current accounts are summarized in a condition group. When you create an account you can assign these to the account.

Structure

Condition groups are further sub-divided by condition group categories. The condition group category determines which condition category is permissible for assignment.

A condition group contains each one condition of every condition category. The category of the condition group determines which condition categories can be contained in a condition group. There are the condition groups for interest, charge and value date conditions.

It is possible that you wish to make use of differentiations; in this case, the differentiations enable several assignments of condition groups.

Example

A condition group for interest contains at most a credit interest condition, a debit interest condition, an overdraft interest condition and a transaction interest condition.

Examples of condition groups can be: interest condition group private customers, charge condition group corporate customers , and so on.

Activities

  1. For a condition area, create the condition groups you need of each condition group category.

For each condition area you can specify a condition group as default value. This is then entered as default value whenever you create accounts to which the condition area is assigned as a result of the product or the bank area. You can only specify one default condition group per condition group category.

  2. When creating conditions, create suitable conditions and allocate them to the respective condition group.
