Control of The Methods for Check Digit Calculation
The control is split up into Germany and abroad.
The methods 00 to A8 for check digit calculation that apply to Germany (status in January 2004) are delivered.
The naming convention of the function modules is BCA_CHECK_DIGIT_PROC_DE00nn
nn = 00, 01 to A8
In Germany, Procedure = Method applies.
The existing function modules from FI are used for all other countries. You need to activate the user exist SAPLSSRV with the CMOD transaction (this is also later needed for the payment transactions and the IBAN number). You also need to take into account the Customizing for the country tables for FI purposes.
Countries other than Germany (DE) are not controlled by these Customizing entries. The event 00003000 (table TBE31) is used for control.
