In this section you enter the settings that are used for defining how condition master data is processed. You need to enter these settings before any other Customizing settings in the area of conditions.
You can make the following settings:
Principle of Dual Control
You specify whether the principle of dual control applies to conditions. This means that when you create a condition, it is set to "locked" and cannot be changed. It must be released by another user.
If you change this setting while the system is in operation, note the following:
If you switch off the dual control, conditions can no longer be released. This means that locked conditions cannot be used and could cause errors. Therefore, before you change the setting, you need to release all conditons.
Time Dependency of the Conditions
Specify whether conditions (meaning the condition header) are to be time-dependent.
Note that this setting can no longer be changed if you have created conditions in this client before.
Balancing Calculation of Capital Yield Tax
Specify how the capital yield tax (CYT) is to be processed during account balancing.
You always have three options:
- CYT is not calculated. Enter this here accordingly, but do not define a function module for the corresponding event.
- CYT is calculated online by function module, whereby the function module calculates the CYT and transfers it directly back to the system.
To enable this calculation, enter the appropriate function module in Business Transaction Events / Event control and specify that online processing is to be used.
- CYT is calculated in a batch job, meaning that the function module defined for this event transfers the necessary data to a CYT module. The CYT is calculated asynchronously and is transferred to the system after balancing.
For this, enter the appropriate function module in Business Transaction Events / Event control and specify that batch processing is to be used.
Number of Periods
You can define the maximum number of periods for which retroactive conditions are permitted.
Old Fiscal Year
You can decide whether retroactive condition changes are permitted for the old fiscal year. If you permit retroactive condition changes for the old fiscal year, this can affect the balance of the previous year.
Standard settings
In the standard system the conditions are defined as time-dependent. The principle of dual control and CYT are deactivated.
Activities
Define your settings for time-dependency, the principle of dual control and the processing of CYT.
