In this step of the Implementation Guide you define the limit for the employee's absence period grace rule.
Function XNAB uses the parameters in this table to split absences into homogeneous time segments.
Example
INPS indemnifies up to 180 days of sickness a year.
The program checks and guarantees that not more than 180 days for sickness are indemnified if the employee has had an absence longer than 180 days (last indemnity interval).
If the employee has had SEVERAL short absences, a mechanism similar to that for grace of the metalworker agreement can be used instead.
For this reason the table contains the field "Wage type counter" of the days already paid by INPS all year round.
Requirements
If the field Value field COVER in this table is not valued, this means that the same field in the table accompanying step Define intervals for absence splitting is valued with 1, 2 or 3: this means that a compensation is provided and the program reads that compensation.
Both for apportioning by the employer and by INPS, the time frame in which the days limits are considered must be indicated; in order to do so, the table corresponding to chapter "Define grace types" of the Implementation Guide must be set.
Standard settings
The national collective agreement for metalworkers includes several grace types, varying according to seniority: simple grace and prolonged grace.
Field "Seniority" and field "Grace" are encoded so as to take into account this need.

Through these table settings you set which absence days have different absence valuation rules.
Further notes
The field in table "Subrule" can be considered an all-purpose field in case some values in the table are not agreement-dependant (for example INPS compensation).
