In this step, you determine which infotypes are permitted for the selection rules in the infotype category. You can only use permitted infotypes for infotype existence or for an infotype selection condition.
You do not need to include infotypes selected using selection rules with the Start date, Status, and Selection exit categories here.
Standard settings
The standard system already contains the infotypes required for evaluating the valuation models assigned to the calculation processes in the standard system. These infotypes are already flagged as permitted.
Recommendation
Do not delete any entries from the standard system. The deleted entries are inserted again in the next release upgrade.
Instead, deactivate the permissibility of the infotype for the calculation of the employment period by removing the corresponding indicator. If the permissibility is not active, the infotype will not be changed in the next release upgrade.
Activities
- Define three infotypes to be evaluated in your valuation model using a selection rule with the Infotype category.
- Enter the missing infotypes.
To do this, choose New entries.
- Flag the Permissibility of infotype for employment period calculation indicator for these infotypes.
- If required, deactivate the permissibility indicator for the infotypes in the standard system.
This is only recommended if these infotypes are not selected for other employment period calculations by a selection rule with the Infotype category.
